For sale is a scarce membership badge of the BRITISH RABBIT COUNCIL.
The British Rabbit Council (BRC) is the regulatory body in Britain for rabbit breeding and show competitions, as well as advocating for scientific research into rabbit diseases. The BRC was formed in 1934 when the National Rabbit Council of Great Britain & Her Dominions and the British Rabbit Society merged. Today, there are around 84 clubs affiliated to the BRC.

DESCRIPTION:
Size: 7/8" diameter (22mm).
Material(s): Brass metal with 2 vitreous enamels.
Finish: Gilt.
Fitting: Pin.
Imprint: None.
Approximate age: 1950's to mid-1970's.
CONDITION:
Good condition. Pin tight and in working order. Couple of edge nibbles in dark blue enamel between 7 o/c and 10 o/c positions.
