For sale is a promotional badge issued by the BRITISH CAR MAGAZINE. This badge would have been available to the magazine’s subscribers and if anyone knows for which occasion this badge was issued, please do let me know?

British Car Magazine was first published in 1985 by Dave Drestler as the ‘British Car and Bike’ magazine. Dave and Dayna Drestler worked together as graphic designers and publishers, but it was Dave’s enthusiasm for restoring classic British cars that led him to start up the British Car Magazine, which was mainly sold in the USA and Britain. When launched, the magazine was issued quarterly and soon after changed to bi-monthly. British Car Magazine ceased publication with the April/May 2003 issue when it was bought over by Motorsport Marketing Inc. and relaunched as the ‘Classic Autosport’ magazine. British Car’s editor Gary Anderson was kept on as editor for the new magazine. (Press release from Motorsport Marketing Inc. January 2003). (About Dave & Dayna Drestler).
