For sale is a large vintage BARCELONA pilgrim's souvenir badge. The badge shows an image of the BVM as the Immaculate Conception, a kneeling praying person and a physically disabled person attended to by a Sister and a nurse. This is the older version of this form of badge made of solid brass and an older style Continential style pin.

DESCRIPTION:
Size: about 34mm x 46mm (1 11/32" x 1 13/16").
Material(s): brass metal with 1 blue enamel & a white enamel paint.
Finish: gilt with text highlighted in gilt.
Fitting: pin.
Imprint: none. Probably of French manufacture?
Approximate age: 1960s to 1970s.

CONDITION:
Excellent condition. No damage. Pin in working order. Gilt on the reverse side looks better than in photo, it's a brighter gold colour - was difficult to photograph.
