​These pieces are beautifully crafted using the copper scratch art (scraperboard) technique. A genuine copper sheet is coated with a dark layer, and the highly detailed designs are painstakingly scratched away by hand using a sharp stylus/tool to reveal the brilliant, shining copper beneath. This technique creates a striking, sharp contrast and incredible detail.
