For sale is a rare and highly collectable antique porcelain advertising ashtray / pin dish from the Art Deco period (circa 1920s).
• Design: The graphic features an iconic Art Deco lady, designed by the famous German poster artist Ludwig Hohlwein (Munich).
• Advertising: It was made for a German luxury glass and crystal shop owned by Engelbert Jott, located at Königstr. 32, Duisburg.
• Manufacturer: Produced by the renowned Heinrich & Co. (H&C) Selb, Bavaria.
• Backstamp / Mark: Authentic underglaze green crown mark used between 1911 and the 1930s.
