An original Holmegaard hand-blown Scandinavian art glass bowl designed by the renowned Danish master Per Lütken.

The smoke-grey freeform design is one of Lütken’s classic organic biomorphic forms from the 1950s/60s and is instantly recognisable to collectors of Danish Modern design. The model was produced as a decorative bowl/ashtray and is illustrated in specialist Holmegaard references.

Condition

Very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Light age-related wear to the polished base consistent with normal display and use.

A beautiful example of one of Denmark’s greatest glass designers. Per Lütken created over 3,000 designs for Holmegaard and remains one of the most celebrated names in Scandinavian glass.
