For sale is a fellowship enamel badge issued in 1953 by THE AQUARIST & PONDKEEPER magazine to promote the hobby of fishkeeping. With a printed token from the magazine, subscribers could buy one of these badges at a cost of 1s 9d each (1 shilling & 9 pence).

The badge features an angle fish and a shubunkin (a type of goldfish) along with the magazine's motto 'Aqua cunae vitae ager nobis', which roughly translates as 'Water, the cradle of life, is our field of study'.

This technical magazine was first published in 1928 and since has undergone some title changes. Today, it is still published as THE FISHKEEPER (for the Aquarist, Freshwater & Marine).
