A pair of Staffordshire Ceramic Dogs. While a pair, the faces show subtle differences showing they were hand painted. They are press moulded- as indicated by the firing holes on the back of each figure and the lack of a casting hole in the bases. The gold detailing shows significant wear (likely due to over cleaning in the past). They have been in storage so will need appropriate gentle cleaning. No structural cracks.
