For sale is a beautiful, 100% original Victorian-era wooden stationery bureau and inkstand. 1885-1905,This is a genuine antique, not a reproduction, and has been carefully preserved in its "as-found" condition.
Can be collected if possible or posted by registered post 13e paid by buyer.

​Features:

​Material: Solid Oak / Hardwood with authentic ebonized (black) trim.

​Stationery Box: Top hinged lid opens to reveal original thin-slat dividers for letters and envelopes.

​Inkstand Base: Features two recessed compartments for square glass inkwells (inkwells not included) and a carved pen tray for dip pens.

​Condition: Excellent "honest" antique condition. It has just been treated with a professional Briwax Antique Brown finish to nourish the wood and protect the original patina. All hinges and feet are original.

​Character: Minor age-related wear to the ebonized finish and a small historical hairline crack in the side apron (stable), which adds to its 19th-century charm.
