Rare antique Victorian Chatelaine brass Thimble case.
Made in the 1800's this beautiful egg shaped box is made of ornate brass with floral design all over. Originally made to hold a thimble this box with a chain to hang on your finger can be used as a jewellery box or a rosary box. Even as a pill box if needed...
Would make a beautiful ring carrier for an engagement ring or can use as a ring carrier for your wedding ring.
It is in good antique condition. Minor repair to the hinge.
