Antique Sword - french gladius

Two genuine antique swords for the french army - model 1831 infantry sword.

64 cm total length with a 48-cm long/4 cm wide blade

Blades are in good condition, there's some darker spots and some pitting on the blades. there's some manufacturer and unit markings on the blade and the guards.

Both come with an original leather scabbard, with two brass fitting at the top and bottom - there's some damage to the scabbards (some stitching loose, damage to the leather on one side).

Great item for any collector of antiques of militaria - asking a very fair price of 300€, but all serious offers considered, so feel free to contact me and make an offer.
