Antique Singer Sewing Machine, year 1899, verified by its serial number 16062881. Possibly of Scottish manufacture.
Comes with a mahogany case, a very rare piece of accompanying woodwork.
The machine works perfectly, missing the small steel plate that covers the bobbin chamber.
Needs a good cleaning and oiling, has been in hiding for 50 years.
