Antique Rosenthal Demitasse Cup & Saucer

This is a simply beautiful early antique Rosenthal Espresso Sammeltasse cup and saucer from 1920's.

The cup and saucer have a white back ground with a striking gilded leaves and flowers pattern around the rim. Early Rosenthal pieces are highly collectable and sought after.

This is a Rosenthal Studio Linie Espresso Sammeltasse cup and saucer designed and signed by G Muller Behrendt. This is number 7 in the MYTHOS line of cups designed by famous designers. The cup and saucer have a pink ground with a spectacular floral design featuring shades of pink and shades of blue. There is an abundance of gold both on the leaves and also outlining the stems and flowers. Stunning! The cup handle is shaped like an upward arching wing and is quite unusual. The cup is 2.1/2"(6.3 cm) across plus handle and is 1.1/2"(3.5 cm) high.

The saucer diameter is 4"(10 cm).

They are in good antique condition. There is a hairline crack on the saucer which is not noticeable unless you look closely.
