Antique Olive Wood Box - Jerusalem - Holy Land Souvenir 1920s-30s
Genuine antique olive wood box from Jerusalem, c.1920s-1930s. Stamped on lid in English and Hebrew: "JERUSALEM / ירושלם" with inlaid string border. Made from Holy Land olive wood, very distinctive grain. Used as a jewellery / keepsake box. Was holding the silver cutlery set but box is separate and much older than the cutlery. Size approx 20x14cm. Age wear as photos - water marks, small chip on corner - normal for 100 year old olive wood. Very collectible Holy Land souvenir. This is not the modern tourist stuff.
