Genuine antique emerald green glass poison bottle dating from the late Victorian or Edwardian era.

This is a highly collectable miniature sample size standing at exactly 70mm tall. It features a hexagonal shape with deep vertical safety ribs and a crisp, prominent embossed warning that reads "NOT TO BE TAKEN".

Base Markings: The base is cleanly embossed with "1/2", indicating its half-ounce fluid capacity.

The distinctive texture and shape were designed during the late 1800s to allow people to identify toxic apothecary substances instantly by touch in dark rooms.

Features a beautiful, authentic hand-tooled finish on the collar, showing early glassmaking techniques.

Clean antique condition with great colour clarity. Please note there is a small, shallow flake chip on the top outer edge of the rim (clearly shown in the close-up photo). The glass has no deep cracks, body chips, or structural issues.
It still displays beautifully, especially when back-lit.
