This piece was designed as a dedicated work station for food preparation in early kitchens. The tiled top slides open to reveal a built-in copper bin, allowing scraps to be swept directly inside—a clever and practical design from a time before modern cabinetry.

Original heavy iron frame (very solid and stable)
