Antique french officers sword
A beautiful XIX Century sword for french infantry officers, this is a model 1882 infantry sword.
1M in total length with an 84 cm straight blade, a 4-branch steel guard and horn grip.
In very good conditions and with its original steel scabbard.
There is no play in the guard - the blade has just the right level of antique patina but no rust, and is also very well marked with date and location of manufacturer.
