Antique Cast Iron Hand-Crank Pillar Drill / Bench Drill Press
Description:
Authentic, late 19th / early 20th-century cast iron hand-crank pillar drill (marked "No. 1"). Fully operational and in complete working order—ideal for collectors, traditional woodworkers, blacksmiths, or as an industrial display piece.
Condition: Excellent vintage mechanical condition. Teeth on the bevel gears are fully intact, the auto-feed mechanism works smoothly, and it turns freely without binding.
Chuck: Fully included and attached with set-screw collar.
Features: Heavy S-spoke flywheel with original wooden handle for smooth momentum, cast slots on the base plate for mounting to a workbench or securing a vise.
Finish: Honest, natural aged patina with light surface oxidation—no cracks or repairs to the cast iron that I can see.
Collection preferably but could place it in a box and wrap well for E16 tracked.
