Antique cast iron charcoal iron, the old type filled with hot coals. Hinged lid with wooden handled latch, wooden top handle, row of vent holes along the sides and a decorated lid. Likely late 1800s or early 1900s, continental European style. No maker's mark seen.
Honest condition: surface rust and grime all over, wooden handles worn and darkened from use. Not restored. Great as a doorstop or rustic display piece.
