Antique 1912 Trunk with Original Stamp plate
Antique wooden Trunk with leather straps which travelled from Boston to Ireland on a ship in 1912 and the ship was called upon to rescue the sinking Titanic but was too late . (This is the story recalled by my Late Grandmother) The trunk has the original stamp engraved on it on a plate and reads ( If Lost Notify BESSE-ROLFE CO Incorporated and has the no . 8780 engraved on a gold plate . It has the original key attached to a red sting which is in perfect working order . The case has genuine leather straps and wooden latts and still has the original wallpapering inside . It is a Beautiful Collectable piece of furniture which can have many uses .
