For sale is a stunning pair of authentic Art Deco period candlesticks. These are substantial, statement pieces, significantly larger and heavier than the standard versions usually found.
Key Features:
Weight: Extremely heavy, weighing approx. 1390g and 1290g respectively (nearly 2.7kg for the pair).
Material: Confirmed Solid Brass with a beautiful, dark original patina. The bright golden brass is visible on the underside near the markings.
Markings: Stamped with a "W" and an "X" on the base, typical of quality European foundry work from the 1920s-30s.
