For sale is vintage religious medal (Presbyterian or Anglican Church) with biblical quotations. This medal was issued through the NPO (Northern Publishing Office) then located at 42-44 Ann Street in Belfast. The NPO was a private publishing company (1916 - 2024) that carried out similar work to the HMSO in England.

The obverse side text reads: THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD PS.23.1 with imprint of NPO. The reverse text reads: SEEK YE FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD MATT 6.23

DESCRIPTION:
Size: about 7/8" across (22mm).
Material(s): brass metal.
Finish: gilt.
Fitting: bale to take a suspension ring or pin.
Imprint: THE N.P.O. 42 & 44 ANN STR BELFAST
Approximate age: 1920s to 1930s.

CONDITION:
Very good condition. No damage. Wear to the original gilt plating on both sides.
