A pair of Vintage 8.5" Chinese pewter and gilded metal Censor Dishes

Here is a super looking pair of vintage Chinese censor dishes..They are 8.5" wide and 1.5" deep..The outer bowl is pewter with a bronzed rim..It is difficult to make a 100 percent call on the centre,but I think that they are gilded bronze..Each piece weighs over 1kg..which would also make me think that they are.They carry Hong Kong stamps on the base.They are in overall lovely condition..some very minor wear..These are far less common to see than the huge volume of Chinese pottery that is available.My honest opinion is that are mid century pieces,a great investment and very well priced..(Price is for the pair..a steal)..
