A Capriccio Of Rome Watercolour in 19th Century Wooden Baroque Frame
Here is an exceptional watercolour..after the original "Circle of Marco Ricci ((Belluno 1676-1729 Venice)"..The piece features the ruins of Rome with the Colsseum in the background and Roman soldiers and ruined temples in the foreground. The detailing including facial is of an artist at the top of their game.The frame is a solid gilded wood 19th century in a baroque style..minor damage on the base consummate with age.The painting itself I have had out of the frame..it is 20th century and is 200 per cent a watercolour and not a print..The painting minus the surroud measures 19.5x15.5cms..The frame measures 41x29cms..Registered post is available for an additional five euro.Thanks for looking please check out my other ads.
