First published by Thomas McLean in 1835.
These are etchings from the same plates, printed for the 1875 Bentley Edition of Cruikshankiana.

George Cruikshank (1792 –1878) was a British caricaturist and book illustrator, praised as the "modern Hogarth" during his life. His book illustrations for his friend Charles Dickens, and many other authors, reached an international audience.

Condition: Good - card age toned - image clear with some foxing and handling marks mainly to the margins - (see all images)
