19th Century Solid Oak Free Trade Union Ballot Box
Here is a simply stunning piece of Irish historical memorabilia.This is a nineteenth century solid oak free trade Union Ballot box.. measuring 16x12x8.5" and weighing 6kgs..this beauty was built to last..I sourced this piece in the North and it is in fantastic condition..four very historical surface worm holes..well departed.Trade unions began to be recognised in the North in the 1860's and this piece would have been created for election and voting on strike action shortly after that.I would be confident in saying that this would retail for just under four figures in the right setting.Registered post is available for an additional five euro...Very fairly and sensibly priced.Thanks for looking please check out my other ads.
