1950s British Railways Metal Handlamp
Mid-20th-century British Railways general-purpose utility oil lantern. The outer metal casing and the internal oil fount/reservoir are both stamped with matching BR(M) VOL B markings.
The internal mechanism made by
Sherwoods of Birmingham is fully functional.The glass intact with no cracks.
(It was repainted at one stage)
