1920s Luminor Carbide Lamp
Luminor Carbide Lamp - possibly from 1920s
may have been used on the front of motorcycle/bicycle
in very good, clean and unrestored condition. please view photos.
i am unsure where to source carbide, so i am unsure of its useability.
carbide would have been inserted in the bottom bowl part and water would have been put in through the cap on top to create a gas. the gas would then be lit by opening the glass compartment. the size of the flame could be adjusted by twisting the arrow on the very top.
