A wonderful piece of authentic British domestic history! This is an original vintage heavyweight floor polisher / buffing brush manufactured by Ronuk Ltd., Portslade, England (Patent No. 14959/15).

​Designed in the early 20th century to polish hardwood, parquet, and linoleum floors, these heavy weighted brushes allowed homeowners to buff wax into floors using the tool's natural weight rather than pure muscle strength.

​Key Features & Condition:

​Original Markings: Features two original cast-iron mounting brackets embossed with "USE RONUK" and "FLOOR POLISH".

​Original Paper Labels: Retains its clear vintage paper instruction label on the wooden deck, complete with the vibrant "ALL BRITISH PRODUCTION" Union Jack logo.

​Original Handle & Sticker: Includes the full-length wooden handle complete with its original paper instruction decal near the top joint.

​Brush & Bumper: Heavy bristles in solid condition and original fabric bumper band around the perimeter to protect skirtings.

​Condition: Excellent vintage patina. Naturally aged cast iron and timber with expected minor wear, adding great character.
