Fully Professionally refurbished Original 1920s Automatic Electric Type 21 Rotary Candlestick Telephone with subset (bell box) by eBay seller uk-cats based in the USA in 2006.

This is an original Automatic Electric candlestick phone with subset (bell box) has been perfectly restored to its original beauty with a fresh powder coat finish and original AE receiver. The new cords are covered with high quality reproduction cloth. The base of the phone has been recovered with new leather. The subset is original Bakelite that has been updated and buffed to a high shine. It has been wired to plug into modern phone jacks.

The phone is in perfect working order. The phone has a modular plug on the end and works on modern lines using a “Pulse to Tone Converter” included (see in last pic). Rotary telephones operate on pulse technology (as compared to the modern tone) when dialing-out. Most landline telephone providers today are backwards-compatible, ensuring that either type of dial may still be used on modern landlines. The buyer is responsible for checking compatibility with you own landline provider. There are no cracks or chips to the phone or ringer.
