Description
This pretty little porcelain handpainted Ginger jar was made in England by Arthur Wood. It is pattern #5874 and features a goldfinch sitting on a branch, surrounded by pink apple blossoms - the image is on two sides of the jar and on the lid. The lid is trimmed with gold detailing. The bottom is marked "Arthur Wood England 5874." Dates to the 1960s.
In Excellent Condition with no cracks or chips though crazing evident and an age-related mark as shown in photo (not actually noticeable in situ)
Approx. 15 cm tall with lid.
