Pair of French Art Deco Mottled Glass Vases - Legras Style, 32.5cm

Matched pair of French Art Deco mottled glass vases in the "verre marmoréen" style associated with Legras, c. 1920s–30s. Vivid citron yellow with orange, white and dark green flame-like flecks, satin finish, glowing translucent when lit. Tall baluster form with a ringed collar and spreading foot, 32.5cm high. A beautiful statement pair for a mantelpiece or sideboard.

Unsigned; maker unconfirmed most likely Legras.

Condition: very good. No chips or cracks. Small features from hand-making (a tooling fold to one rim, an open bubble to one foot) and light wear to the rims and feet consistent with age. See photos.
