Authentic pair of vintage Czech handmade marionette puppets “Old Man Joe and Woman”, crafted with exceptional detail and traditional artistry.

Each marionette features a hand-painted face and hands, a classic wooden control mechanism, and fully jointed construction allowing for natural movement and display. The craftsmanship is evident in the expressive features, carefully tailored clothing, and charming accessories, including the gentleman’s umbrella and the lady’s handbag.

Both puppets come with their original box (no lid) and there are no missing pieces. They retain their original tags and are approximately 45 cm (18 inches) tall.

Condition is very good overall. The wooden hanger has a small chip on one side, and the male figure’s threads require minor adjustment, but both marionettes remain fully functional and highly presentable.
