Very decorative cylindrical vase, designed and manufactured in 1988 by Phoenician Glass, Malta.
Signature on the stand: "Phoenician Malta 1988"
There's a lot of similarities between the different Maltese makers being Mdina , Mtarfa and Phoenician glass. They all have a link to Michael Harris who trained many of the founders such as Paul and Joseph Said. With this vase, the influence of Michael Harris on maltese art glass production can be clearly seen.
Dark glass with a beautiful iridescent surface with rainbow effects in shades of green, gold and violet structures and patterns.
This vase shows its full beauty only with suitable lighting - then you can enjoy a kaleidoscopic play of colors.
Very good undamaged condition.
