@Darcarlow: Hi, there are no marks at the back of the two hand painted birds but they come from the famous Russian Porcelain factory Lomonosov Porcelain Factory = LFZ, founded in 1744 in St. Petersburg (Leningrad) by order of Elizabeth of Russia. During the Soviet Uniom the pieces were usually not marked..
I bought in Porvoo, Finland, in a antique shop, in the 1990 and in my collections not all are marked but I know they are all from the Lomonosov factory. rcmob
