Mare and Foal Ornament - Hertwig Katzhutte
This beautiful Vintage figurine of foal and mare was manufactured by Hertwig Katzhutte.
The makers mark is very faint, but visible, on the underside of the base. This particular mark was used between 1941 and 1958.
The company operated from 1864 to 1958 in Germany.
Approx 18.5 cm tall, base 20 x 8 cm.
Very good condition.
1 small chip and a few very tiny nibbles noted at front of base, under foal. Small crack in glaze on underside of base.
Suggest collection.
