Large Vintage Giovanni Ronzan bulldog figurine
This is a very large and wonderful porcelain bulldog figurine made by Giovanni Ronzan in Italy circa. 1950's. Just look at that stance! He has two shades of a delicate brown, light and dark and is made of glazed earthenware and painted by hand with the technique of under glaze painting.
The details on this figurine are really superb, highly collectable.
One back leg has a repair. There are small bits of glazing loss on the left ear, above the left eye and a couple of tiny spots on the lips, hardly noticeable and does not take away from how stunning it is.
