Kaiser Fossil vase
This superb sculpture was made by West German firm Alboth and Kaiser in the early 1970's.
It is made of white matte (Bisque) porcelain with a glossy interior and has an asymmetrical rocky form. The design and form of the vase gives the impression of a rock which has been chiseled from a rock face and the raised relief is of an 'ammonite' or fossil. A truly amazing sculpture.
The base is marked with the Kaiser backstamp and is numbered 276/00.
A stunning retro item, in excellent vintage condition, with no chips, cracks or restoration.
