Close Pack Millefiori Paperweight - Red White Green - Complex Canes Possibly Murano

DON’T FORGET TO LOOK AT MY OTHER ADS!

A striking close-pack millefiori glass paperweight: a dense carpet of complex floral canes set beneath a clear glass dome.

Two main cane designs are used. One is red-edged star canes with crimped pink and white rings around a red centre. The other is green-edged white star canes with red centres, some with clear-glass rings between the layers that give real depth. The red canes gather through the centre and the green canes frame the edge, so from above it reads like a bouquet. The canes run deep and show as long columns down the sides, so the pattern is full from every angle. Tiny air bubbles trapped between the canes catch the light.

Condition: light surface scratches and scuffing to the dome from age and handling (see photos). Internal air bubbles are from the making.

Well packed, tracked UK postage. Collection welcome from Belfast or Dublin by arrangement.
