Aynsley cake knife
This was going to be offered as a vintage piece.
It was unused in it's original presentation box but I decided to wash it and then knocked it off the draining board and it fell on the floor and broke.
It is vintage as it was given to us as a wedding present in 1985 by someone who had received it previously as a wedding present and their marriage broke up so it was passed onto us. You could not make it up. Truth is stranger than fiction.
I disposed of the presentation box.
