Antique Victorian/Edwardian Porcelain Figural Lamp Cordless Rechargeable 60cm Tall

Beautiful antique porcelain figural lamp standing approximately 60cm tall, featuring a seated lady holding a cherub amidst hand-applied porcelain roses and finely painted floral decoration.

The porcelain base dates from the Victorian to Edwardian period and would originally have been a candle holder before being converted into a table lamp during the mid-20th century. It is a wonderfully decorative piece with tremendous character and a lovely romantic feel.

Recently upgraded with a modern rechargeable cordless LED bulb system, allowing it to be used anywhere without the need for a nearby socket. The remote-control bulb offers adjustable brightness levels, timer functionality and a choice of warm, cool or neutral light settings.

The lamp is sold complete with the large floral fringed shade shown. The faded rose pattern in soft cream, blush and ochre tones complements the antique porcelain beautifully and gives the piece a charming Grandmillennial, English country house aesthetic.

A truly unique one-off piece that would make a stunning addition to a bedroom, sitting room, hallway or reading corner.

Very good antique/vintage condition overall. There are a few tiny nibbles to some of the delicate porcelain leaves and flowers, entirely consistent with age and only noticeable on close inspection. The lamp displays beautifully.
