Antique Blue/White Victorian Boy/Girl Bisque Figurines circ 1800's
A lovely pair of antique Victorian Bisque figurines of a boy and girl. The figurines are made of heavy bisque porcelain and are well modeled with excellent attention to detail and have hand painted features. They are not marked but are most likely German in origin. They are in the style of Gebruder Heubach. Both figurines stand 12.5 " high by 3.25" wide at the base with a depth of 3.5”. At the widest point the girl is 4” whereas the boy is 5”.The girl is in very good condition with no damage or repair. The boy has a chip on his small finger; a chip on the bottom right branch; both chips not very noticable.(see Photos) Also a line under his left arm which may have occurred in production. They both have a number on the rear bottom, boy 3981 and girl 398L. (K4)
