Here is a truly unique and stunning piece of Polynesian culture and workmanship.The Maori have worshipped the sea turtle for it's power and grace in the water,since time began.This canoe is hand carved and features Maori carvings on both sides and a sea turtle at each end.It has been carved from driftwood..(Light to pick up after loosing it's water content from drying in the sun..and has also been bleached in the sun.The colour,patination and feel to the piece can only happen with the passage of time.The canoe is 17 inches long and 3 inches tall.This is an excellent representation of authentic vintage Polynesian carving and is an excellent investment piece.Safe postage available at buyer's cost.Thanks for looking please check out my other ads.
