This is a book based on the crash of Flight 401, a Lockheed Tristar L1011 operated by Eastern Airways in the Florida Everglades in 1972. As the jet plane was brand new, a lot of salvaged parts were used on other Tristars in the Eastern Fleet. The book then goes on to document the paranormal events that followed.

Bear in mind this book was released in 1976. Eastern was still in business at the time and the author had to carefully document without attracting lawsuits from Eastern as even staff were not allowed talk about the paranormal events that occurred. John G. Fuller passed away in 1990 a year before Eastern went bust so never got a chance to write his full account without being sued.
