Manfred Gabe , born on January 28 , 1916 in Vienna and died on September 12 , 1973 in Paris , is a French biologist and zoologist of Romanian origin Scientific path Bidoctor, that is to say holder of a doctorate of medicine and another of sciences, the researcher is an authority as regards histological techniques and the author in 1968 of a reference treaty colloquially called "the Gabe ” In collaboration with the herpetologist Hubert Saint Girons (1926-2000), he carried out histology work on the Tuatara and the Lepidosaurians . Histologist Lucie Arvy (1907-1990), bidoctor who shares the same laboratory, coordinates a posthumous work dedicated to his memory. - Edit
