It is packed with wonderful photographs to inspire those wishing to restore a period house, and provides a comprehensive list of suppliers to help them get it right. The book is divided into sections covering important features such as doors, fireplaces, kitchens, lighting, etc. Each section also contains written information in chronological order so that house restorers can choose the appropriate period for their particular dwelling.
