The Bible has some wear but overall is in good condition.
A label says that the Bible was given as a gift by the Dr. Durdin Charity and brought into use on Sunday, 21st November 1949. The label is "signed" by V. J. Walker. The Dr. Durdin Charity was founded by the will of Dr. Robert Charles Garde Durdin of Clonegal, County Carlow, dated 5th of January 1925, mostly for the purchase and distribution of Bibles.
There is a bookplate of the charity to front free endpaper.
