Classic shoot em up and fifth instalment in the StarFox series (after Star Fox Assault on GameCube). The game follows Fox McCloud attempting to defend the galaxy from aliens known as the Anglar. The game is set in the Lylat system, using a similar map as Star Fox 64 to switch between each areas. The game has two types of single-player gameplay including a strategic map and battle mode.

Star Fox is one of the most influential Nintendo game series (alongside Mario, Zelda, Metroid etc), since initial release on SNES and Nintendo 64 through to the Wii U.
