Pokemon Nintendo DS Core Set - All UK/IRL Versions - Sealed & Graded - UKG 80-90 NM/MT

This is the entire Core-series of Pokémon Games on the Nintendo DS. All brand new still factory-sealed games. Right now I have no plans to sell these separately, but this may change in the future.

Details about the copies

What you need to know:
- This is the only listing like this that I can find anywhere online.
- All of these copies are the UKV versions, the ones sold in the United Kingdom (and Ireland).
- The Platinum copy is a 2nd-print version. The difference from the first and second print is the PEGI logo. A few months prior to Platinum's release, PEGI updated its certification logos and colors, and Nintendo released it in the UK with the then slightly old versions by mistake. The first print has a black and white PEGI certification, and the second print has a green certification. The cart code above the barcode also ends in UKV-2.
- HeartGold and SoulSilver are the big-box versions as you can see. The boxes themselves are still sealed, of course.
- Platinum and Black 2 are considerably rare as sealed copies, let alone graded. Platinum in particular is very very hard to find.
- Note that the Red Stripe was used for all Nintendo games up until around 2008/2009 when it was replaced with a black stripe. You wouldn't find a red stripe on Platinum onwards.
- These were all sent for grading in September 2022 and graded 31st of October 2023.

Pricing

I priced items based on sold historical data of specifically UKV sealed and graded games, extrapolated them based on inflation if sold before 2025. For some of the rarer games I had either one or no sold listings to go off of, so for them I based my price on active listings. If I couldn't find listings active or sold for the same grade, I adjusted the price by about 10% up/down for every 5 points.

For transparency, I added a €50 premium per-game on top of each adjusted guide price from the historical data. For HeartGold and SoulSilver I added an extra bump in premium as it's very sought after.

I encourage you to search PriceCharting, eBay, etc for better prices. If my price seems way out of line, we can discuss in PM, I can show you what listings active and sold I have looked at and based my prices on.

Please understand I have researched prices, and this is a reasonable price, given a small premium for it being bundled all together, graded with consistent results, and all UKV versions. The only way this could be more perfect is if it was the Pokémon Platinum pre-order version with the Giratine figure, or the first-edition print of Pokémon Platinum.

A bit about myself

I have always been a huge fan of
Pokémon and all of these games (except the Black/White series haha) have always been hugely nostalgic for me. I had a rough childhood, rough school life, and not a huge amount of friends. However, the good parts of all of that has always been Pokémon, specifically Diamond. It got me through bad patches in life and is the only thing I can imagine when thinking back.

I got these as a sort of memento of part of my own self. But as life is, I need to do better stuff. I never got these games sealed or graded them as a form of investment. I got these sealed games in 2016 (ungraded) after finding a seller who needed money urgently to keep a roof over his head. Now, its my time to pass on these gems, needing the money for QQI Level 6 College fees, travel, food, and rent.

I never thought I'd be letting these go! I dont think I have ever seen a full graded set of the core NDS collection online before. This is probably your one chance.

Shipping

Ideally if you are in Ireland, I highly encourage you to come down and see the items before purchasing. If you want them shipped we will have to discuss postage costs at the time as I would have to contact An Post and work out insurance and pricing details.

Packaging

If being posted, these will be individually bubble wrapped, and then the package will be double boxed. The inner box and outer box will be wrapped in cling film to prevent moisture. The inner box will be padded along all sides with more bubble wrap and filler.
