The Motorola mr601 was released in 1997 as a re-branded Motorola MicroTAC International 8800 (Mc1-41a11) for exclusive use on the Orange network. The key feature of this mobile is that it was the first dual band GSM phone released in the UK, being able to operate on both the GSM900 and GSM1800 bands

Don't know if batteries hold charge sold as spares or repairs. Phone does power up when briefly tested with a charger but no sim card so can't test further. Slight crack in one part of antenna but still slides up and down as should.

Selling for spares or repairs. Not tested any further other than it is powering up ok. No GSM sim card present.


These phones can be unlocked where a sim adaptor is used which will make it possible to use on today's networks.
